Here is my Bead Journal Piece. This is actually a piece that I have been planning for about a year. I purchased the zippers in an assortment of colors off from a super helpful seller on etsy about a year ago, and have been collecting the other pieces along the way. I really love the way it turned out and am planning to make at least one more in different colors.

Bead Journal Piece..
I haven't gotten a lot accomplished the past few months; however I did manage to get one Bead Journal piece done. (photographs below). Now I have two days to start and finish my bead challenge piece for Scottsdale Bead Supply Store. We meet Saturday Morning at 10:30 and I haven't even started the piece. I do have something in mind for it, something a little bit avant-garde. We will see if I can pull it off. I had hoped to work on it yesterday; however the night before last we had a big dust storm and I spent 2 1/2 hours yesterday morning cleaning up all the dirt. Not to mention the 3 hours the night before I spent cleaning my bedroom (yep, left my screen door open...big OOPS). Everything in my room was coated with a thin layer of dirt. Looked like I took my room to the beach. So after my cleaning I laid down to take a nap, and woke up, well...just about a half hour ago. Nothing like a 15 hour nap to get rejuvenated. I'm hoping for a more productive day today :)

Awesome! It would never have occurred to my to use a zipper, very cool!
The way you used the zipper is so creative! In spite of that being a very functional embellishment, this piece has so much beauty.
Well done!!!! What a fabulous cuff, great colors, flowing design... I'd wear it to the royal wedding!
I super-love this bracelet! That beautiful zipper is a fabulous idea. I do a lot of garment sewing, and it's so much fun to see a zipper used in a less functional way.
I'm not sure I've visited your blog before, but all your bracelets are gorgeous.
