Tim Holtz and Ranger go WAY above and beyond!

These days the words "customer service" seem to be more of an oxymoron, however; you do every once in a while you run into a company that really truly does believe in real customer service, and will even go above and beyond to make their customers happy.

Way back when I took a class from Tim using the Ranger Paint Dabbers. It was a wonderful class! Learned tons of fun techniques. And we made this great little How To book in his class to use for reference. What a great idea right? I just love this little book.
A while later, I took another class from Tim learning how to make some domino jewelry pieces.
This is a photo of photo's (my scanner isn't working) of me, my mom (Barb), my aunt (Fran) my cousin (Julie) and of course, the teacher (Tim). I had a ton of fun in this class, and again learned so so much!

So of course, after taking his classes I bought tons of product. I absolutely fell in love with all of it! And of course, I can't do anything in moderation, so I bought all the products in every color I could get my hands on. This is my Tim Holtz shelf. No, it isn't all the stuff I have, but this is the stuff that fits nicely on my shelf. If you haven't explored his site yet, you really need to. So very many wonderful products to get your creative juices flowing! Tim Holtz
Unfortunately I got so busy that my wonderful paint dabbers sat on the shelf for a long while and didn't get used. And when I did go to use them, they were dried up. Well this bummed me, as these paints aren't supposed to dry up like that. So, I sent Tim an e-mail, honestly thinking not much would come of it. Well, to my Amazement, not only did Tim respond in a super friendly matter, but he contacted the company for me, and in just a weeks time I received this box at my front door (today!). Yep, that is every color of paint that I had, plus a few that I didn't! I mean, WOW WOW WOW. What company does that? None, well, none except for Ranger that is! For anyone that isn't familiar with Ranger Dabbers, each bottle start at around $4.00 per bottle in the stores and some sell for around $6.00. So this was a big investment I made, and it was a HUGE deal for Ranger to stand behind their products and to replace them for me. Especially in the absolute no hassle way that they did.

I can't begin to thank Tim, and Ranger enough!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you are all having a fantastic day. I am super excited about my box of paints so I am off to create!

Beading Group

So I decided to join a few groups this year. One of them being the Bead Journal which I am super excited about. I have two ideas for that one that I am still tossing around. I have to decide soon though! This is the first month so I need to get a piece done.

The other club I joined was with the Scottsdale Bead Supply store. Today was their first "challenge of the month club" gathering. Each month we meet for a half hour or so to get our kits, and to share what we made with the last months kit. I had a lot of fun today meeting everyone. It seems everyone there is into something different so I think it will be a lot of fun getting to know everyone and finding out about their different style and likes.

The kit this month was Garnet. It came with two garnet strands, crystal rondelle's, Swarovski crystal element, and some silvery metal beads. I have a month to come up with a piece of jewelry from these components. We were told we can add what ever we want to the beads. I have to be honest that I don't have much of a clue as to what I'm going to do with them. I am really seed bead dependent. Everything I make is 90% seedbeads, so this is going to push me out of my comfort zone.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic new year!
